Painted People Tattoos – Speaking Moistly Lip Balm

After donating all of our gloves / masks / soap a few weeks ago, we were thinking about other ways to help. Pondering becoming personal shoppers for local community (getting groceries delivered), our fearlessly “dreamy” prime minister Trudeau gave us a great idea with his minor faux pas. So, $2 from each of our Speaking Moistly, beautiful limited quantity natural lip balms, is going to the North York Harvest Food Bank! Here’s something about the product as well. To skip reading, click here to purchase.

As an homage to our Canadian roots, and Trudeau speaking moistly to us Canadians not that long ago, we thought what could be a better name for our lip balm then that (other than any other name of course)! Not sure what it is about the word moist that makes us Canadians, as others on this beautiful planet of ours, mildly cringe (this of course doesn’t include one of my most beloved bands while growing up, Moist), I guess we should say Don’t Speak Moistly Without our lip balm handy. Actually, just don’t speak moistly! But do sing the catchy song made out of it, Asia hasn’t been able to give it up for days.

Natural lip balm is hand made by our artist and co-owner Asia, all ingredients are locally sourced (for the most part at least), and the lip balm will keep your lips moisturized without a noticeable glare or sparkle, so it can be enjoyed freely by anyone including all our manly man men out there with tattoos. Plus, there’s no artificial scents or flavorings, yet it’s so far from bland, it’s Canadian, damn it, aboot.

Ingredients for anyone that read this post to here include Cera Alba (Canadian beeswax, this is 100% local), Theobroma (cupuacu seed) grandiflorum butter, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Cocos (coconut) nucifera oil, Theobroma Cacao (cocoa seed) butter, Prunus Avium (cherry kernel) and/or Prunus Armeniaca (apricot kernel) oil, Camellia oleifera (camellia seed) Oil, Ricinus communis (castor) oil, Tocopherol (vitamin e) oil, Rosmarinus (rosemary) Officinalis extract and good old fashioned Canadian Love

For external use only, avoid moisturizing your eyes or teeth, and avoid speaking moistly without it. Stay safe and we love you! PS – the beautiful board in the photo of the product is made by our dear friend Kay, check out her other stunning work from Kay at Home products here.
