Meghan is our newest tattoo apprentice joining us in our Toronto tattoo studio. As another true artist, her passion for art and creating original stunning works of art sets her apart from so many young artists we’ve had the pleasure of working with. With a solid art background – completing her Honors Bachelor of Illustration at Sheridan – we truly feel proud to have her join our extended tattoo family.
While living in her hometown in Huron County, Meghan frequently travelled to London spending time with friends in tattoo shops as they took turns getting additions to their bodies, whether it be tattoos or piercings. After spending years outside of the tattoo environment with school as priority, she tells us it’s a breath of fresh air to be in a tattoo shop once more. Her art styles have gone through sometimes painful growths during her time in the illustration program, but the time spent studying has proven to be worth while. Focusing on composition and adaptation to different media will greatly aide her while becoming a full time tattoo artist.
There are a lot different styles Meghan is interesting in perfecting, from studying placement to focusing on American traditional, Japanese traditional, and neo traditional tattoos she has a very long and rewarding career as a tattoo artist in front of her.
As an avid learner, Meghan is looking forward to learning as much as she can from our tattoo artists in the tattoo studio, starting with our Toronto tattoo shop. She also enjoys spending time at home working on sketches, watercolour, and acrylic pieces. Feel free to stop by Tuesdays to Thursdays to say hi!
